Benjamin Franklin
Benjamin was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on January 17, 1706.he was the 15th child born in his family out of 17 kids. He was the youngest son out of 17 kids. Benjamin parents where very hard workers and very where religious. Benjamin became an apprentice for his father as a candle and soap maker. 1718-1723 Benjamin became an apprentice to his brother James, as a printer. During that time Benjamin secretly writes a series of letters, signing them silence dogood, for James weekly newspaper, the New England courant. Rebelling against James strictness, Benjamin abandons the apprenticeship in 1723 and runs away to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
At the age 22, Benjamin starts a printing business, and he was printing the news paper for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware
In 1732-1740 Benjamin publishes the first copy of
“Poor Richards Almanac”, it was the best selling collection of proverbs and witty savings.
In 1740 Benjamin made a Franklin stove, it was one of his many inventions. In 1732-1740 Franklin began to experiment with electricity. His demonstration with lightning proved that lightning is electricity and from that demonstration made Benjamin fames in Europe. Franklin died on April 17, 1790 at the age of 84; 20,000 mourners attended his funeral in Philadelphia. What suprised me is that Benjamin Franklin was the 15th child out of 17.

1st influence

Influence #1Benjamin got the French to help with the revolutionary war. The French helped because they loved Benjamin Franklin. Because of his folksy wisdom and painting his image on everything from snuff boxes to jewelry. In return, Benjamin played up to his image by wearing a plane brown and white suit and a fur cap to the count of Versailles. In 1783-1790 Benjamin helps get the treaty of Paris on September 3, which formally ends the revolution. He returns to Philadelphia in 1785, serving as a member of the constitution convention. I thought that it was amazing that Benjamin Franklin had some really good sayings like "A penny saved is a penny earned."
